Marijuana tea spray reportedly eliminates coqui frogs.

Marijuana tea spray reportedly eliminates coqui frogs. It’s hard to tell if the tea rumor is the wishful thinking of a way-too-high smoker but the Big Island County Council is reportedly anguishing over the potential economic implications of a legitimate use for pot. Unfortunately, or not, depending upon one’s position about pot smoking, the process does not work with hemp. Several Big Isle residents are said to have requested permits to grow, test, and refine the tea-making procedure. A source (who wishes to remain anonymous) says that a plant with buds must be boiled in water for about ten minutes, cooled, and then misted over the infected area. Tea sprayers admit that they don't know if the frogs get high during the treatment and simply stop singing and instead get the munchies. Says one sprayer, “The blissful silence is well well worth the legal risks.” Most agree that marijuana would have to be legalized so as to lower its price for the tea to be economically feasible. True or not, there is no shortage of volunteer sprayers for the county.
