The name "Hawaiian Vintage Chocolate HVC Intentional Chocolate [INT123]" suggests that their beans are grown in Hawaii and that the chocolate is processed in Hawaii. Neither assumption is true. Worse yet, it implies that theirs is an ancient Hawaiian recipe.
My surfing the Internet reveals that their beans are not grown in Hawaii and that their reputation among Hawaii's cacao growers is less than admirable.
Their "benefits" hype verges on deceit.
*- "What we discovered in a human trail [sic] of 80 volunteers was the chocolate when consumed twice daily in 1/2oz quantities for three days produced exactly the results anticipated by the intention. The proven benefits are listed below:
Benefits from a Coherent HVC Chocolate
Lowered stress
More energy
Less fatigue
Calmness
Focus
Improved General Well being
Improved Coherence.
Further details on the study and it results will be published in March and April watch this website for further details."
* As of 1/10/22 I've been unable to find their study results (due "March and April") on their
website.
I'll remove/edit this post if/when I receive info contrary to my assessment.
