What

The Support Group for Entertainers will consist of ten individuals who have agreement within the community that they are in fact a talented entertainer.

The Support Group for Entertainers is the only group of the televised series that is assigned a goal. The goal for the Entertainer's Support Group is to design and present to the community an evening of entertainment at the Akebono Theater in Pahoa. The name of the presentation will be The Pahoaloha Entertainers. The entertainers  will demonstrate by example, the communications it takes to create, have, and complete a project.

The support group for entertainers will consist of a total of ten of any of the following types of entertainers; musicians, singers, drummers, comedians, writers, producers, and other artists. If you would like to start the support group you will be able to choose the kinds of talents that you'd like to work with.

Purpose

The purpose of a support group is to experience an expanded ability to manifest the results we say we want for ourselves and, for those with whom we relate.

Prerequisites (no exceptions)

  • corded telephone
  • own transportation
  • own computer
  • email address
  • agreement that you are a musician

Notes

  • A support group will not work for you if you (or someone you are living with) are addicted to abusing (see exception*).
  • If you are an alcoholic please let us know up front.
  • If you are in therapy please wait 3 months after your last session before registering.

Register to be a Participant in the Support Group for Entertainers:

Step 1: Click the Register button and complete the Community Support Group Message Board Registration form.

Step 2: You will receive an email containing a link to Activate your registration.

Step 3: Post a test post on the Message Board, [Subject: "_ _ _ _'s test post"] using the user name and password you chose.

Step 4: Email us your full name and home telephone number. Upon receipt of your email you will be emailed the password for the Participant's Message Board.

* The vast majority of people are addicted to abusing and being abused. The objective is not to stop abusing or being abused but to have in place an agreement to acknowledge (through to mutual satisfaction) every single instance of abuse.

For example:

You: "That didn't feel good."

Partner: "Thanks, I got that."

The one who fails to insist upon acknowledging/clearing an abusive interaction become the cause for all successive abuses.
